I firmly believe in Sophia Amoruso’s motto: “Money looks better in the bank than on your feet.” But if I’m being completely honest, I can’t help but satisfy my obsession for really great shoes, especially when they’re on SALE!

I want you guys to always look your best. Shoes can make or break a first impression. I’ve seen so many people nicely dressed for an interview and wear the wrong shoes!!! It’s like, come on! You worked so hard to get all the details in your outfit right, and slacked off at the very end.

I’ve seen girls wear awesome, #GirlBoss slacks and ruin the outfit with torn up flats (you can buy flats anywhere! They are so cheap). I’ve also seen girls wear great, tailored dresses and wear stripper shoes (FYI: Not a good look for an interview).

Height is very important when picking out shoes that can be used for any event. Comfort is ALWAYS key, but so is sophistication. And always, always remember that you can buy classy and comfortable shoes for a great price!

I want to share 3 of my favorite pairs of shoes with you that are practical, yet chic for any occasion!

 

1. $20-$35

 

Forever 21 is a great place to shop for shoes that aren’t overpriced. Their wedges run between $20-$35 and most of them are made with quality. I’ve had these shoes for over a year, and paid $32. It took a while to break them in, but it was so worth it! They are my favorite shoes. I love that the heel is thick, making them more comfortable. Since the heel isn’t too high I can wear them to day time events, too! (See image 1) If I want to dress up my outfit I can totally rock a cute skirt (purchased in downtown Eagle Pass!!) and attend any night time events like grabbing dinner with friends at a fancy restaurant, or attending any networking parties. (See image 2).

2. $15-$20

 

Look how long and lean my legs look!! These shoes make me feel so polished and snazzy because of its simplicity. The straps add a dapper touch to this classic heel. The heel is short, which makes the thinness of the heel very easy to walk in. I feel so fabulous and chic with when I’m in them. I found these gems at Ross for $16. Most of their pumps and wedges run between $15-$30. I love that these heels can be classy for the office (See image 3) and sexy enough for a club (See image 4).

3. $25-$40

 

Disclaimer: Okay so I’ve never spent more than $30 on the MakeMeChic for booties. You can find some great deals (and steals) on this website for cute, charming and comfortable shoes. I know booties are more of a fall thing, but I’m a huge sucker for pairing them with fun, flowy skirts and really cute, country looking denim shorts. I’m breaking a little fashion rules, but fashion is about fun! I love that these shoes go with EVERYTHING!!! Since summer is pretty much here, I think they look great with skirts. These booties are great because not only are they extremely cozy, but they are great for any night-time event. When you feel like two-steppin, or going to outdoor movie screenings these shoes are perfect for those down-to-earth gatherings. Plus, you can totally rock them at work!
